01Monitor

See what is happening, right now, across the whole school

From one screen you can see which doors and windows are open, which lights are on, how much water is flowing, and how much power is being drawn across every block of the compound.

02Control

Switch things on and off without walking there

You can turn off lights that were left on after prep, lock the science block at dusk, set the bell schedule, the irrigation schedule, and the times the gates are allowed to open. The physical switches and keys still work as well.

03Account

Track what each part of the school is using

We meter water and power separately for each dorm, classroom block, kitchen, and office. You can compare them against each other, catch leaks the same night they start, and at the end of the term give the bursar a real number for the board.

What it covers

The kinds of equipment we can connect to the dashboard.

If it has a motor, a switch, or a meter, we can usually wire it up. Below is a rough taxonomy of what we have installed for schools so far. See the use cases for what this looks like in practice.

Motorised

Gates, flagpole, blinds, irrigation valves, projector screens

Switched

Lights, bells, dispensers, cookers, water heaters, sockets

Metered

Water mains and submeters, electricity, gas, solar inverter

Sensed

Door state, window state, motion, temperature, CO₂, smoke

Secured

Door locks, gate barriers, alarms, panic buttons

Scheduled

Bell timetable, gate-open windows, lights-off rules, irrigation
